For the next-level performance in this mid-range smartphone, Samsung has given a 7nm Exynos 9825 octa-core processor having a primary clock speed of 2.73 GHz and a secondary clock speed of 1.95 GHz.

For gaming, you will get Mali G76 GPU with Game Booster to get the best gaming performance as and when required.

RAM and Storage:

This new Galaxy F62 comes with two RAM options of 6GB and 8GB. Sadly, internal storage given in both these variants will be the same of 128GB only, which can be later expanded up to 1TB via microSD.

This smartphone comes with one of the massive battery capacities seen in any smartphone. Yes!, you saw correct, it comes with a 7000 mAh powerful battery which can provide you at least 2-3 days of power backup under normal usage.

“And you already know Samsung smartphones batteries very well:D”

Another cool feature is that it comes with a reverse charging support. You get a 25W USB Type C fast charger inside a box that can charge your smartphone rapidly.

This smartphone comes with an immersive 6.7-inch FHD+ sAMOLED+ Infinity-O display which has a 20:9 contrast ratio. The brightness can go up to 420 nits. That’s quite impressive!

The colors are bright and the text looks sharp. What else you want in any mid-range smartphone?

You get a quad-camera setup at the rear which comes with 64MP(Primary)+12MP(Ultra-wide)+5MP(Macro)+5MP(Depth) lenses. You can take amazing night photographs with the night mode.

For the selfie, there is a 32MP punch-hole camera that can take beautiful selfies with just a single click. The camera also comes with several interesting features and filters which can make your shots look more professional.

You can also record videos up to 4K with the improved cameras. Great!

The smartphone looks very stylish with a 9.5mm sleek build and comes with three unique Laser Gradient Designs named Laser Green, Laser Grey, and Laser Blue.

It is quite impressive that Samsung is experimenting with some cool designs on their latest smartphones whether it’s Samsung Galaxy S21 5G or this one.

User Interface:

Samsung Galaxy F62 comes with the latest Android 11 with the One UI 3.1 on the top. Samsung lovers will love their One UI 3.1 custom interface but stock Android users hate the custom UI on any smartphone.

For better security against device access by an unknown person, you get face unlock, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Samsung also provides a Defence Grade security feature named Knox in the majority of their smartphones including this one also.

According to Samsung, Knox gives better protection against data theft and other illegal hacking activities.

Now when comes to connectivity, there is one question in the mind of every user while purchasing a smartphone in 2021,

“Is this smartphone supports 5G?”

The answer is a big NO! Sadly this, smartphone only supports a network of up to 4G only. It also comes with Bluetooth 5.0, Dual-band Wi-Fi, and other essential connectivity features such as GPS, NFC, FM Radio, and GLONASS.

For the unknowns, this is a dual-SIM capable smartphone and has 2 dedicated SIM slots+expandable memory card slot which is a great feature that is seen less these days in any smartphone.

The new Galaxy F62 price in India for the 6GB+128 variant is been set to INR 23,999 and INR 25,999 for its 8GB+128GB variant.

This smartphone is going on sale from 22 February 2021 on Flipkart at 12 Noon IST.

You can also grab this smartphone from the Samsung website and offline stores. Various bank offers and discounts are waiting for you!

My Verdict

This smartphone is meant for those users who want an impressive camera, a better display, and obviously a large battery in a device.

“If you are one among them, grab this device as soon  as it becomes available”

If the company would have given Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead of Exynos then it would have much been better.

This is not a budget smartphone obviously and investing more than INR 20,000 on an Exynos device is not justified.

As the user chooses the device processor according to his/her preference. So, you can go with it according to your need.

For the unknowns, the processor in this device is not a gaming processor and it always lags behind Qualcomm Adreno graphics.

So, if you don’t game too much on the smartphone then you can undoubtedly choose this device.

Else, there are various other options available in the market in this price range only and also with the Adreno graphics.

You can ask me in the comments section if you want any help regarding any smartphone purchase.

The camera is also great on this device and you already know that displays made by Samsung are always best.

Another disappointment in this device is its low internal storage of 128GB only. If the company would have given the 256GB option also then it would have been a great storage device.

The main drawback of this device is the absence of 5G. This drawback makes this device a non-future-proof smartphone.

I would like to give 3/5 stars for a great camera, display, and battery. Two stars will be deducted for not giving 5G and not including Snapdragon on this device.
