Samsung is going to release both LTE and 5G version (in select countries) of the Galaxy Fold. The Galaxy Fold comes in beautiful Cosmos Black and Space Silver colors options. It is one of the first commercially launched foldable smartphones as it sports a color-accurate 7.3-inch Infinity Flex display which folds inwards to close the device like a clamshell.

“The display is a Dynamic AMOLED display with an unusual 4.2:3 aspect ratio”

The launch of this device was continuously postponed for the last several months due to the screen defects in the device. But now after resolving the issues, the device is finally launched and the company says that the construction and design of this device have been improved in order to provide a seamless user experience.

Besides the regular 7.3-inch display, there is also a 4.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display on the face of the cover of the Galaxy Fold device. Talking about the number of cameras, the device comes with – a 10MP selfie camera on the cover, a 10MP + 8MP dual-camera setup on top of the inner foldable display, and a triple camera setup on the rear that includes a 12MP main camera with variable aperture feature, 16MP ultra wide-angle camera and 12MP telephoto lens.

“Samsung never compromise with its cameras, same applies to this foldable device too!”

Samsung Galaxy Fold is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. According to sources, the Indian variant of the Galaxy Fold device may feature an Exynos 9825 SoC. “Only Samsung can do this!”

Samsung’s One UI based on Android Pie has been customized in such a way that it can run seamlessly on both the 7.3-inch and 4.6-inch displays. Samsung’s One UI for Galaxy Fold also comes with a Multi-Active Window that allows you to run multiple apps at once for better multitasking.

There is a special feature known as App Continuity which also comes with the One UI. Using this feature, you can shoot a quick video, when the device is folded and then simply open the device to watch it on a larger screen, App Continuity seamlessly transitions the video from the cover display to the main display of the Galaxy Fold device.
